That would last most people about 2 seconds. I see a lot of guys taking it out back and introducing it to a 12 gauge...

For 40 bucks think of the fun you could have surreptitiously locating those under co-workers' desks on in their trunks. C'mon. There are unexplored possibilities here!

I like Jeff's idea better. Otherwise, I'm always looking for target practice with my .45.

best alarm is one of those old mechanical ones with 2 bells
that wakes me up
albeit in a pissed off way

these days i wake up without a clock, internal biorytme does the work
but in the old days, i used to sleep through the electronic ones , loud or not , didn't matter
the bell style clocks, never, woke me up everytime, and then i smacked them against the wall

average life span of those clocks tended to be 2-3 days, max

but they sure worked!

You guys are gonna think I am insane.

I set my clock radio and then turn the volume all the way down. I actually hear the sound the speaker makes when the alarm activates, its a very subtle click and that is all it takes to wake me up in the morning. I am a super light sleeper.

Yup, you're insane.

I just put mine across the room. By the time I get there to shut it off, I'm awake enough that I don't go lay back down.

I usually get awakened by the cats demanding "feeding time at the zoo" by about 5AM anyway.

She will make and pour me a cup of joe,
then utter..'go get Pa'
then the hounds will race to see who can land on me first.

sonic boom is nothing..imagine a 100 + lbs. Lab. or even bigger Rott. stepping on your nuts.

If that thing shakes the whole bed you might have a hard time making your wife/girlfriend leave it under the mattress. No batteries to change? They are marketing it wrong.

My aunt is nearly deaf. An alarm clock with a shaker is a great gift idea, actually...

My alarm clock has wheels. The first time it goes off it makes a simple beeping sound. Once snoozed though, 7 minutes later it sounds like R2D2 having an epiletic seizure, and activates the wheels and goes shooting off my nightstand. Typically nght under the bed. It gets me up everytime.

That clock probably wouldn't work for me

However, a 100lb dog jumping on my balls might work ...
I wish that I could wake up early in the morning and be a normal person ...
