Can you point out the bad ones? Unfortunately the enemy uses the population for cover & the population allows it. Also unfortunately, civilians die in war. It has always been & will always be this way.

How in the world can you say we killed 1/2 million women and children? That is so over the top it's stupid. I don't recall hearing about the US built gas chambers and firing squads.

The cost of doing the right thing: priceless.

Please remember that there were people vehemently against WWI and WWII as well. Where would we be if we listened to those folks?

I have compassion for those that lost loved ones in these wars but the death of a son, daughter, father or mother is not a reason to not stand for what is right. I know that there are those that think this war is not right. Again, there were those who said the same about WWII.

Actually my recollection from history class is that there was popular support for WW2 unprecedented (and never seen again) in the history of the U.S.

How exactly is invading a sovereign country under false pretenses and killing lots of civilians (dismissed as "collateral damage"), setting up a puppet government and creating a breeding ground for an entire new generation of America-hating future terrorists "doing the right thing" exactly? Please be specific in your answers.

The solution is the same as it has been in every war in recorded history. You win by making it too painful for the other side to continue. When you don't do that, (viet-nam) you loose. It worked really well against our own people in the War Between the States. Look into it. Ask somebody from Georgia.
