The boys first trip to the range....

I swung by the range and took my oldest with me. He just turned four at the end of December. Not perfect form but.......

We'll work on the setup

Talk about loading the shaft, now that's clubhead speed, definitely coming over the top though

And showing off his proper left hand dominant grip with the right hand release at the top ala Sergio Garcia

Ain't that the truth. That's a proper 9 iron head on a very short shaft.

Nice! Golf is a great sport for kids. Careful, though, if they get hooked, it's not cheap.

Fuzzy pic of my 8 year old on the back 9 of a tournament he won recently. Shot 2 birdies during the round, and ended up 10 over through 18, beating lots of 12, 13 and 14 year olds. That swing did not come cheap, though.

Looking good there, birdies at that age are supposed to be rare One of my good buddies was a junior champ at that age. He got a scholarship out of the deal.

My boy just loves smacking the ball and I'm not giving too much instruction yet. If he really ends up liking it we'll ease him into some instruction. I know it's not cheap, but it's still nothing compared to what these hockey families shell out, that blows me away!!!!! As far as my son knows hockey doesn't exist
