I am tierd of just floating

Here I am sitting in a local coffee shop. I always come in here for the same barista. She is beautiful. I think I am going to give her my number and see if she wants to hang out. I am tierd of going to the bars and being successful.

Time to jump back into a new relation$hip?

Don't worry Tom. She already knows you're into her. Just try not to say anything stupid, and good luck!

You can post a picture of her along with your CRAZY spring break chicks.

Oh, and don't worry; when you get older, "successful" doesn't really mean the same thing.

I can't believe I just said that.

Any woman that brings you coffee is worth keeping around for a while.

Tom needs to catch up and post pics. I say we give him 12 hours and if no pics, then ban for a week.

There is no downside,

As long as you have a backup coffeeshop.

I second the motion.

PICS OR BAN!

Also - for future reference your posts of this nature should read something like:

"Hey guys, check out the pics of this hot chick I just totally hooked up with because I'm not too much of a pansy to giver her my number!"

Giving your number is a bit presumptuous? Or is it my age showing here? If I were in the same situation I'd make a positive move. Like, let's go somewhere. Wanna go for a ride in my car? (oops, I see you're restoring the car.) Well, anyway, get out of the coffee shop with her in tow.

A little. Giving your number is considered nicer than asking for hers, because you could be some crazy lunatic stalker and now you've got her number and can harass her. Especially creepy since he already knows where he works. This also lets her off the hook for coming up with a fake number.

So you give her yours, and if she calls she calls, if she doesn't no harm done.

Actually, the battle over who gives who a number is as old as the telephone.

But who cares, just say "hey, I'd like to get to know you better (naked), What can we do to make it happen (naked)?"

Whisper the (naked) part.

Of course I might be kidding...

I don't really think you should give her your number - you seem like the kind of guy who should post a 'missed connection' on Craigslist and see if it pans out.

Or just smile, see if she smiles back - if she does and it isn't busy in the shop try and strike up a conversation with her. If it is busy, try not to be a creep.

Dude,

A few common mistakes being said here

1> Firstly, talk to her, get some conversation going, no cheeesy chat up lines. BUT most of all be VERY confident, even if you feel like a pussy inside ! women love that, keep any conversation light and freindly, NO negativity, dont put yourself down.

2> DO NOT, REPEAT DO NOT GIVE HER YOUR NUMBER, get her's. that way you have to ring her and nail her down, otherwise, you'll be waiting by the phone like a sap !

Women like a challange , you need to make yourself a man of mystery. even in the conversations you have with her, keep it light but myseterious.

3> ASK HER OUT,

i) you must ask her
ii) nail her down for a time and a date.
iii) she's doing you a favour NOT the other way around, thats how you must come across, but NOT arrogantly

iv) When you ask her out like this, you’re not giving her the option to let you down gently by saying she already has plans.

If she says, “Yes, that might be nice,” you can immediately follow it up with something like, “OK, which day works best for you?”

If she still finds a way to avoid making concrete plans, you should move on to another girl at this point because she clearly isn’t interested.

Offering to buy her dinner lets her know that this is a date, not merely a friendly get-together.

trust me, some of the advise here is cack.

it's her interest level in you that matters, not how much of an interest level you have in her !

Playing hard to get is what Chicks try to do to us, but they know men GENERALLY don't we get sooo excited by the fact a piece of skirt has looked at us, we give up our power to them, THEN they play with us.

You manipulate her, play hard to get, be a little illusive, if your allways there (like why... ????) dont go there for a few day's see if she notices if she asks, keep it light a joky but keep it mysterious..

"Yeah, I've not been a round for a few days, I'm on a secret mission, of course I'd have to shoot you if I told you.. maybe I can explain it over a drink???"

for example
