No kidding. . . That's beyond awesome. I can only imagine what a restoration of that quality costs. Worth every penny though. Simply incredible.

Which 917 is this in the movie #21 or #20?
And when was this clip made? Car #20 was at Rennsport Reunion III last fall. I took this shot of it then....

Found this on 917-024 at 962.com:
"CONVERTED INTO 1970 "K" SPECIFICATIONS. SOLD TO JO SIFFERT. PAINTED IN JOHN WYER-GULF COLORS. BELIEVED TO BE THE SECOND CAR USED FOR FILMING "LE MANS" BY STEVE MCQUEEN. CAR IS NOW IN FRANCE WITHOUT ENGINE AND GEARBOX. SAID TO BE UNDERGOING RESTORATION."
