So what seems wrong? It's basically an electric socket driver attached to a typical scissor jack...

Its not lifting the wheel of the SUV off the ground.

I bet its not strong enough to jack from the rear axle.

Looks to me like it's not lifting the wheel off the ground because it's too short for the SUV. I've used my cordless drill attached to a scissor jack like that before and lifted the car with no problem at all.

Ted,

Are you going to lift the entire car with the jack or just one corner? I think the jack should be able to lift one side of the car without a problem.


As for the jack being high enough, I think it might be. In the video, it appears as if the tire gets off the ground, although barely.

i prefer not to use a jack or jack stands that dont have the capacity to hold comeplete weight of what i am lifting. even if it is just one corner...better safe than sorry. emergency/ease of use still isnt reason to risk it for me.
