Karma is a B###H

This thread may be out of line, but I think this is kinda funny.

See this thread in the cars for sale section:

Specifically asked about rust before making the trip. Car needs SUBSTANTIAL everything before it could even begin to be considered decent enough to start to think about putting on the road (get my point?!). See post in "parts" section for full rant. Just hope someone doesn't pay to have it shipped and then cry when it arrives. Enough said. Dan
Anyway, here's what I find funny...

Back in '05 a guy posted a beautiful 69 911T for sale for $8900. This was back when I was actually in the market for a <10k 911, and the car was relatively close so it really caught my attention. The car got offers real fast, and someone scheduled a PPI. Unfortunately, they found lots of rust around the rear torsion bars:

The seller was very forthright and posted about the newly found rust issues and even posted pictures. Car found a buyer anyway.

Well, about a year later the same car is for sale, with a bad engine. The new owner makes NO MENTION of the serious rust:
1969 911T coupe for sale
This was back when you could comment on "cars for sale" threads, and so after a while I poked him and asked about the rust. He gave a BS answer about it being "about the size of your fingernail". Then he sent me nasty PMs. Only when I posted again saying I had pictures did he come clean and post them, but still saying it wasn't serious. Others looking at the pictures agreed it was serious.

Anyway, here we are a couple years later and this same guy started a thread about how SOMEOEN ELSE misrepresented a car in the PP classifieds. Funny!

Funny, that doesn't look like a "macro" shot as he claimed in his response to when that pic was posted in his for sale ad. If it's a "macro" shot then the rear sway bar must be what, 3mm?

Nice, Some people are just amazing.

nope, he just BS'd about it.

I normally wouldn't even remember trivia like this, but that car was pretty much etched in my memory, and then when he tried to resell it we had an, err.. interesting exchange of PMs.

So it was funny to see him complaining about this other guy's "misrepresented" car.
