I have 2 hand me down Dell Pentium 4 machines. They both suck.

I have 4 Dells around the house and they work fine. Problem was that their hard drive got full of crap and after formatting the HD and re-installing the OS and needed programs they work fine and are very fast.

got optiplexes everywhere, they work
a lot of consumers complaining about a certain brand of computer, tend to be those who made the mistake of buying the consumer models from that particular Brand i've had Compaq Deskpro's, DEll Optiplexes, all good and i've seen friends and family with Compaq Presariosuck and Dell Inspiron****e and they were truly crappy fact is, the consumer models are all loaded up with fancy gadgetry, and are models that change monthly... the business models, have longer lifecycles, and don't come with all the useless consumer junk....
