Half a million dollars is about 10X the net worth of the average 55 year old in this country.

maybe that's what makes it an interesting question. note that for some it would completely change what they did for work and lifestyle.

I'm too fiscally paranoid to enjoy it (maybe with the exception of the 2 chicks at the same time thing).

you can be safe, and place it on ING Direct CD and collect monthly $$ :)

If she were a DD I could get by nicely with the top half.:D

ANOTHER half million! Good god hon', we need to add on another room.

Cashing ALL the dividend checks, from ALL the oil stocks, we have no room left!
I'm tripping over all the stacks/bundles. (Is that friggin' currency counter broken again?)

Now get out there and DRIVE ...all of you!:p

I'd just send it in to my brokerage account. The house is already paid off and I have no other debt. I cant think of anything that I want that I don't already have. I retired last year at 50 and I'm doing pretty much what I want now.

126coupe 05-15-2008 02:27 PM

935, GT3, pay off the house with rest.

rtoms 05-15-2008 06:30 PM

buy a white 964 turbo, and be smart with the rest

rtoms 05-15-2008 06:30 PM

edit white slantnose 964 turbo

Make that a 935 Interscope, I have a soft part in my heart for the Fields/Ongais 935.
The story is too long

I will own it someday, but, most likely too old to drive it. But just once I need to feel that "lag" and feel 750Hp kick in

$500K really isn't enough to get what I want, won't even buy a lot were I want to be, or commercial real-estate where I want, so I would just make sure all my bills are paid, send my mother on a trip to Japan and invest the rest, depending on where my cur said to put it. Of course, I could go in with a few friends who have a project in the islands, and if the America hating, racist ohb wins(about as likely as being given $500K )move there myself:cool: What the hey, I would buy a pair of these wheels for my 914-6GT clone:D http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1210908931.jpg
