I too have one of those Colt's. Mod. 6520 but it also has the M203 launcher. As with almost all of my collection, it has never been fired either.

But no, i don't own any $1000.00 scopes, or long range rifles for that matter. I'm in a pretty dense urban environment here, so i have a 9mm pistol and a 12 ga shotgun, but yes, they are both very high quality items, and i have a shiit-load of money in the pistol especially. But both of them put together cost half the price of a $5k rolex, even though i did spend big bucks for them (at least by my standards), so your point is at least partially valid. ;) |

I think the key here is that people spend their money on the things they enjoy.
Some things are status of a sort, others aren't. Some folks like watches while to others a watch is merely a way to tell time. It's all about what floats your boat....Tabby loves his spoons, and his antique firearms, right? Strange as it may seem to some here, my cue case and the sticks in it are worth more than my hunting rifles, and I prefer a military style $200 watch, and I got tired of a car some would call the holy grail of early 911 models, so I passed it on. It's all about whatever floats your boat. Oh, to keep on topic? The watch I wear most of the time... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1211727673.jpg |
