Biscuits

Religious and political implications of biscuits?

Warm, flaky, floury biscuits with real butter are good.

But everybody knows that the best croissants are in France & they're almost US enemies aren't they?

And I feel that it's discriminatory that you neglected bagels, croissants & baguettes . . .

Man, I could go for a Bojangles chicken biscuit right now... Or even a sausage, egg and cheese from Hardee's...

Croissants = France = surrender monkies = liberals. As you can see from my proof, croissants are a tool of the left.

Biscuits are the true breakfast food of the red states, wholesome and all-American.

As for religion, don't get me started on those jewish bagels or scientologist donuts.

Bah! Only for the weak. It takes real strength to eat croissants with French Roast coffee. Not something you'd see from liberal quiche-eating wimps.

We all know that real conservatives only eat steak for breakfast, medium rare, along with a gallon of coffee and a pound of bacon.

Can't we all just get along? There's nothing better than a French chocolate croissant, fresh from the oven, early in the morning. But then there's a fat, doughy but firm bagel, smothered in cream cheese and lox. Mmmmmm. Old fashioned biscuits start the day out right with a filling breakfast that sticks to the ribs. And for the guilty pleasure in all of us, you can't beat a donut. Cream filled Bismark, custard filled, jelly filled, raised and glazed, or a cake donut with sprinkles.... It's all good and I'm starving now.

Make biscuits every Sat and Sun to go with breakfast... usually eggs, grits, biscuits, and sausage or bacon. Sometimes make sausage gravy to go with, sometimes make the biscuits with olive oil instead of crisco and add garlic powder and herbs to go with Italian style dinners...

You could be on to something. This is the most evidence that has been put forth to date.

I like croissants, but they can't match a really good biscuit. The croissant probably came first though and the French know how to eat well, IMO.

Even the best bagels can be firm and rubbery, unlike the tender and moist flakiness of a well made biscuit.

What are the different bread stuff of religions? Perhaps something can be learned in this regard?

Bread plays a significant role in the Bible as well. Interesting. It would be funny to rewrite the Bible and only replace the word "bread" with "biscuit".
