For you, facts only serve to confuse your reliance on feelings & claims and are therefore disregarded as inferior to claims and feelings. In the future I will try to place warnings in all posts where facts are used to make a point, in hopes of preventing the overtaxing of your meager brains. With this new approach there should be fewer confused PPOT lefties pounding on their keyboards, staring blankly at their screens while drooling on the keyboards or making psychotic, threatening posts & pms. First three petition signitories from the fine State of Alabama:

H. William Ahrenholz - deceased
Oscar Richard Ainsworth, PhD - nothing on the internet
John H. van Aken - sells boating supplies

I'm sure the quality of these "scientist" signatures is much better than my quick "fact" check.

Ainsworth you posted received a PhD from Berkley in 1952. Nothing about Alabama and do you even know what his degree is in (Math?) and if he's alive today?

The van Aken link you posted also missed the check to see if this character is in Alabama and what he does. Try this link: http://chandlers.near-2-u.com/boating/USA/John-H-Van-Aken-Co.-Inc-43.htm
or maybe he's a South African, Honorary Consul General, located in Mobile, AL: http://www.mobilechamber.com/consularcorp.asp

Once again, you...wait for it...

Local restaurants won't supply America the 21 million gallons of diesel it consumes per day. Burning fryer grease is a novelty, not an energy solution. Nifty as it may be.

I believe he was referring to corn anyways. The scam is that you burn more fossil fuel per gallon with corn than you do a petroleum product.

There are many cars here in this big city that are burning vegetable oil from various sources. There was a big Dodge pickup for sale near here that got 22 mpg. on peanut oil. Needless to say, that vehicle didn't last a week for sale before it was bought. So it's not so novel, and yes, it is one of many energy solutions.

The scam is the petroleum products - at least it is today. No one says ethanol is better than gasoline. It is simply an alternative to gasoline - a very good alternative because, just like in the Lotus video, if the engine management is reprogrammed, the car can get virtually the same mileage with a good amount more power.

Not many cars in this big city (Atlanta).

Ethanol is not an alternative to petroleum products because it takes petroleum products to create and distribute it. Cradle to grave, it's a waste.

ANWAR, a National wildlife refuge? Calling ANWAR a wildlife refuge is like calling the Indy 500 a kart track.

Apparently. Didn't you claim 45 mpg with an ML320?

The only explanation is that it's a different guy right? I bet the country is eat up with Oscar Richard Ainsworth, PhD's. What do you think, maybe 10 or 20 of them?

Punked again!

Mule, you stubborn, boy.

You post a link to some old/dead Math teacher dude in CA, claiming he's a climate scientist from Alabama. You...

I can guarantee you she's a democrat, probably an Obama supporter.
So how many Oscar Richard Ainsworth, PhD's do you think there are 10, 20, 100?

And what evidence did you provide that the petition was skewed, other than his opinion?

Looks like the type that goes for the rich Republican dudes to me. But I would have to admit that this is pure speculation on both our parts. I would be very happy if the world were as I wish it to be, but I would rather see it the way it is.

Absolutely conjecture. If you run the percentages on air headed college students, are they mostly Republican?

Not many cars in Atlanta? Hmmm...wouldn't have guessed that last time I drove from Hartsfield to Buckhead on a Friday night.

You must be the "1" in the 31,000 scientists Mule's touting...now 31,001.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world calls it an alternative. It's engineered, marketed and sold as an alternative.

Cradle to grave.

Where I went to college, yes, they were. Dummies through and through.
