F1 spoiler, stupid move of the day

HAMILTON = BONEHEAD. nuff said.

Mule 06-08-2008 09:42 AM

Hamilton = best driver in F1

sammyg2 06-08-2008 09:43 AM

Best at running into stopped cars at a red light at the end of pit lane. Bonehead rookie-type move.

Mule 06-08-2008 09:45 AM

Call McLaren. I bet they'd appreciate your input.

Neilk 06-08-2008 09:49 AM

Well Lewis can no longer give his dad ***** for wrecking the Carrera GT!

Good week for the Hamiltons!

sammyg2 06-08-2008 09:50 AM

We'll let the FIA decide, I bet hammy-bone loses points over that.

McClaren doesn't mind being penalized, they're used to it by now.

Neilk 06-08-2008 09:53 AM

He'll definitely lose 10 places at the next race.

rusnak 06-08-2008 10:45 AM

AAAARRRGGGHHH !!!!!!

Bad end to a joke of a circuit. Bad paving, bad emergency response (no crane for the Force India car), and what is with no victory lane? Crazy to see Coulthard on podium. Doesn't Canada have a better track somewhere?

livi 06-08-2008 11:02 AM

Good for Kubica! Well deserved after all his fighting so far this season.

I can hear the partying all the way from Poland over here!

BRPORSCHE 06-08-2008 11:05 AM

Did robert win?

CurtEgerer 06-08-2008 11:32 AM

BMW 1-2 and Kubica leading the championship! A good day to be a BMW owner.

But what was with Varsha constantly saying this is going to be a historic win for BMW ... their first F1 win ... blah, blah, blah. Maybe the first for Sauber! Certainly not for BMW :rolleyes:

Joeaksa 06-08-2008 11:41 AM

Very good race. Sorry to see it happen that way but boy, some nice driving. Especially when Massa passed two cars on one corner!

legion 06-08-2008 11:45 AM

Massa did the same thing last season. I don't seem to recall any of the same people calling it a rookie mistake then.

I think calling this a first win for BMW is giving credit to Mario Thiessen, and not crediting their engine program, which of course goes way back to the 80s.

artplumber 06-08-2008 11:51 AM

Actually, most stupid was Alonso. Had a chance to get some points, maybe even a podium, and tried for too much. That's a Hamilton '07 move.

rusnak 06-08-2008 11:58 AM

Nil Bastardo Carborundum....I love it, haha

m21sniper 06-08-2008 12:15 PM

I just don't get the fascination with watching F1, or really any other form of racing (especially on TV). To me, racing is a lousy spectator sport.

Participating, on the other hand, kicks serious ass. :)

I've got to wonder if Ferrari has some sort of illegal traction control. He managed to slip past two cars on the hairpin that was covered in quick dry because the other two cars were sliding around...

BMW has never won an F1 race as a constructor before today AFAIK, only an engine supplier.

That was an excellent move. It looked like the other 2 cars were in slow motion, great job Massa.

I cant believe what a bonehead move Hamilton made. Maybe his pop has been giving driving lessons?
