Sad thing is that dickweed will probably move up in the organization now. |
Horrible, just horrible.
A tragic loss to the country. One of last reporters out there that isn't a complete corporate chicken *****. |

We have been watching Meet the Press every Sunday like clockwork over the years. You got used to his dry wit, friendly eyes and unbiased reporting. He came up the ladder in the most dignified way. No pretenses, no bull, just a regular guy from Buffalo. I expect folks are scrambling to find a replacement as they always do, but no one can replace Tim! No one. The Presidential race coverage will have a large void to fill. He indeed was the real "Big Russ".
My condolences to his family. Bob |
Was he critical of the Clintons?

Godspeed to Tim Russert; a class act and a wonderful man by all accounts. |
Perhaps my post should have been made in green....
Agreed...NONE of us have a warranty on our time left on this planet... |
So true Paul, so true. Thanks for chiming in
LOTS of people tick me off to the extreme but I wouldn't wish death upon them in my most upset moment. |
I refuse to use silly green type, or smileys. It's only a handful of people here that need them, anyways.

It's sad to see him go. He certainly came off as close to center as any reporter on TV (he was from left leaning roots and stayed the course IIRC).
This disease is so common, see Minkoff's thread. I would have thought that he would have at least had an executive physical though even if he didn't have symptoms prior to the actual event:confused: |
