New series of Top Gear...

First episode of the summer run (which will be a short run, only six episodes) aired earlier this evening, over my side of the pond. Hopefully it'll be on Final gear for you guys to down load tomorrow.

I must admit I laughed out load at this one. I don't often laugh at TV shows. The police car bit was best...

You will need to download a torrent downloader like utorrent first. The go to Finalgear.com and browse throughuntil you find the episodes you want. If I remember correctly there is a link on the Final Gear site to download the Torrent program.

Someone please explain to me when and where this is on TV. Is the USA all done with TG? I've been catching old episodes on BBC/ America.

As far as I know BBC America is going to continue showing old TG episodes. This is the only way to see TG on American television. They are usually about a year behind from the original air date on the UK BBC.

The only way to watch the new episodes in the US is to download then via bit torrent from the final gear site.

Sweet! I've been ripping the reruns off my TiVo and watching them on the plane. Sure beats trying to watch the airline's movies with their horrendous audio and video.

I really enjoy the show, and it's really fun to watch with my son. He torrents them for us.

Voted "best show" in our house!

We are currently getting 2 Top Gear "hits" for our "habit" weekly down here. Reruns of great episodes on Saturday nights and the new series (for us anyway) on Monday nights.

It is the ONE show everyone sits down to watch - Billy (9), Charlotte (10), Tom (15) and Mike and I - together!

Monday night's episode had us all on the floor with laughter - when the boys decide to cross the "Spine of Africa" in their chosen cheap cars. I had to keep telling the kids to laugh more quietly as the dialogue was so funny. Charlotte was the worst; she was in hysterics at their antics from the start.

We love it - best damned show on free to air TV down here !
