GOOD Customer service does not cost...it pays. I prefer companies with good service as a rule. I work in a customer service role in addition to sales...I treat people the way i would want to be treated...and almost everytime go the extra mile. I do however have certain people i just won't help(reputation follows people)

I've got a nice customer service story of my own. Something that I was able to do for someone else.
Back when i first started making guitar pickups (10 years or so) I'd made one of my very first sets of humbuckers for someone on a forum. After a few years, he sold them to someone else. After several years, he wound up selling them to yet another person, having sold the guitar they were in. The second owner and I spoke frequently...and every time, he lamented about the loss of those pickups...hard times, he explained. After a few more years, the third owner decided he wanted something different, so he sen them in for a "rewind" Instead of rewinding them, I made the third owner a brand new pair, and sent the original pair back to the second owner. Boy was he surprised to find out they'd come back into my possesion!
