So, any near misses this weekend? Blown off digits, lose an eye?

I dropped a bedframe on my toe--that's about it.

My rash got worse. Or at least, it didn't get any better.

My poor wife got crushed between my sailboat and the dock almost breaking her ribs.

No blown off digits.

My liver is permanently damaged. Does that count?

4 straight days of drinking and boating. Felt like I was in Vegas.

I went camping on an island and some a-hole lit it on fire while we were sleeping.

Some nit-wit driving in front of to me decided to pull ahead, put on the right directional and then pulls a quick left to make a u-turn right in front of me

I escaped being hit in the passanger door by a few inches.

Way to much food and beer. The burgers were under cooked and the beer warm.

I was in Colorado riding a huge Canadian Sport horse who liked to finish every gallop with a bucking session. I felt like I was waiting for the 8 second buzzer. Yee-haw! My butt hurts and my nads feel like they've been pounded with an abalone mallet.

I'm highly allergic to bee sting - went into minor Anaphylaxis the last time. Doctors say without intervention the next sting could be fatal. So on Friday I'm on the backyard lawn, without shoes, throwing the baseball with my son. Just after my wife yells at me to put some shoes on I step on a dead bee. The stinger is 1/2 embedded in my foot. DOH!!. I quickly extract the stinger and down 4 Benadryl chased with a beer and sit with my foot elevated and watch it swell. No other symptoms that day. Lucky.

I had a mortar go off in the can too, was less catastrophic than I would have thought. Next year I'm making a multi-tube launch pad w/controls or maybe just a simple daisy chain cannon fuse system. One at a time blows and bore the audience.

I overcooked a roast on the bbq due to an (unknown to me) broken meat thermometer. Who keeps a broken meat thermometer anyway? Next time I bbq at my parents beach house I'm bringing my own cooking gear.
