Download winterboard is a first. The wallpaper is from my photos. In winterboard it will give you the option of 'user wallpaper' and selecting that will use whatever you have as your lock screen. The rest are themes downloade from cydia. Once you download, just open winterboard and you should see the title of whatever you downloaded at the top, just click what you want to apply and exit. The springboard will restart, which is a little scary the first time, and when it comes back, your themes should be implemented.

Anyone with the new 3Gs having problems with the battery really getting hot and discoloring.

Its a common problem. Head on over to macrumors.com, iPhone forum there are a few long threads about it there.

I wonder if the problem is OS 3.0 rather than the new hardware.

This morning I noticed my phone (3G not 3GS, updated to OS 3.0) was notably warm today (and I have a rubber case on it so the heat had to get through the rubber) and battery drained quickly. But, after a recharge, this afternoon it has behaved normally.

Maybe in some circumstances the OS doesn't manage power correctly. If so, is presumably fixable with a software update.

Free- Smacktalk lite will have you rolling it is a great speech converter/recorder that has an animated hamster that repeats everything you say. Don't waste your time on the upgrade it does less then the free app. Its really sensitive, trust me you will like this one I don't care who you are! :D

Free- Candyclock is a really nice dimmable clock with animated backgrounds, it looks great on a desk or nightstand but uses a lot of juice so make sure its plugged in. SmileWavy

Just picked up a Griffin Aircurve dock at wally mart for 10 bucks. Sounds pretty good. A little tinish but not too bad and it looks like art.

can't find it rigth now. I have a unlocked/jailbroke 3G that I really love, no
issues at all.

Im not sure if it works on the "non S" phones, but mine works by holding the home button for a couple seconds.

EleMints is a cool app for people that need a Periodic table and Chemical formulas.

Voice control is not on 3G.

Do not upgrade to 3.1 if you enjoy your JB.
