Super-continent Rodinia confirmed

The finding of an isolated granite boulder on an Antarctic glacier that is identical to North American rocks confirms the idea that Antarctica and North America were joined in a super-continent called Rodinia hundreds of millions of years ago (pre-Cambrian).

LIES! God put that there 6000 years ago, just as everything was put here 6000 years ago. The universe is perfect and unchanging.

The people of Pangaea are gonna be pi$$ed when they find out that they've been dropped to #2 on the super-continent list.

Talk about a stretch. It doesn't CONFIRM anything.

The headline is:
A Single Boulder May Prove that Antarctica and North America Were Once Connected

That means it also MAY NOT prove that Antarctica and North America Were Once Connected.

The story goes on to say:
A lone granite boulder found against all odds high atop a glacier in Antarctica may provide additional key evidence to support a theory that parts of the southernmost continent once were connected to North America hundreds of millions of years ago.
That means it MIGHT be true, it it possible it could be true, it means there a slight chance that it may be true, but it does not say that it IS true.

They don't know if it is or not. They can't prove it one way or the other, it's just another theory. one that is neither confirmed or disproven by a a few rocks.

I understand where they are going with this, but, since rocks don't actually have DNA....

Sure it does, it CONFIRMS the IDEA. Also, the FACT that this THEORY PREDICTED such a thing, and that then such a thing was FOUND, give some CREDENCE to the THEORY.
