I think one of his predecessors got busted in rank for biting his handler. That's an old picture of him. It shows him to be a corporal, not a sarge.

Was going to say, the original Chesty passed way back in the 1970's. Had a friend who fought with him in Guadalcanal.
Not many made like Chesty! Thank God he was a US Marine!
