Well, the Olympics are coming up. Ya'll will have more opportunity to beat up on the rest of the world.

Not really. We have a long story of failing miserably when the time comes at the Olympics, so I don't really have great expectations.
I only hope we get the gold medal in basketball. The two USA-Spain games (one in the group phase and then the final) will be really worth watching. |

Guy had a helluva time trial for a GC/mountain guy. Dunno what happened to Evans. He just kind of melted down. Not badly, but it just seemed like he never really "hit it" on all cylinders either. 1:34 was a pretty big deficit to come back from though - he'd have had to have had the TT of his life (and Satre would have had to have had a lousy one) in order to bridge that gap.
Congrats to the Spanish! Nice job! Olympics & next year's TDF should be pretty interesting...

It was a well done team and individual performance. I'm glad the tour came off relatively clean. It seems like the sponsers have stepped up and put huge preasure on the riders to stay clean.

Oscar Freire won the green "sprinter's" jersey in The Tour. So he may very well have an impact in China. But then, there's Cavendish...
