TX to execute Mexican citizen, wrong?

So, the gist is that 2 girls, 14 and 16, were walking home after a party. They accidentally stumbled upon a drunken gang initiation. They were then gang raped. Afterward the gang leader said that they had to be killed. So the gang strangled them. Texas has already killed one gang member. I think the rest are either in for a long time or on death row. At least one of them is a Mexican citizen (ie Illegal alien), and now everyone is saying that we can't execute. One the one hand, I'm all for the execution, but at the same time I think this could end up being bad for US citizens abroad. Other countries would think that they had the ok to do whatever they want to US citizens. What do you guys think? |
Boo hoo. He came to the U.S. and committed the crime, now he can face the penalty.
|
They should turn him over to the Ertman girls father. I have seen him interviewed. I think he could hand out some Texas justice.
Seriously, the UN court does not matter in this case. |
Other countries do whatever they like with US citizens right now!
That's why I stopped trafficking heroin out of Budapest years ago. |
In what possible way could someone argue that he shouldn't be executed. If I ever find myself illegally in Switzerland in a US gang and doing an illegal US gang initiation and decide to rape and strangle to girls who are 14 and 16, I should be executed.

TX to execute Mexican citizen, wrong?
Hell yes it's wrong. Texas is slacking. That should read: TX HAS executed POS. Carry on. |
I think Texas should wait until Fox agrees to carry it on O'Reilly ,, I personally would like to see the SOB's fry!!!!
|
Screw the U.N. That's a technicality anyway. It's not like Mexico has done a helluva lot for us anyway other than dump their trash into our country. The guy committed a capital crime, face the (mariachi) music.
|
I would Rick Lee him first, then execute him.
|
Make a TACO out of him, fry the MOFO!!
You come to this country and kill somebody, tough s---!! |
Execute the POS!
That said, what precedent does it set if say you were convicted of some odd crime in Saudi Arabia (like looking at a woman the wrong way, just made that one up)? I would hope that we could appeal to our gov't for help. Although we can't compare the two crimes. |

Geeze, Rick...and I was only thinking of feeding him to Texas wild hogs...

The hog/feet scenes in Hannibal and Rambo IV would be just fine for this POS too. I might even go after his family so he can watch them suffer as well. |

The horrific nature of Jose Medellin's crime is reason enough for TX to go through with this execution.
It was 15 years ago that this gang rape happened, and it still sets the standard for brutality and viciousness. No number of court-house dodges, 11th hour appeals, perp's rights advocates, UN interventions or retrials in the Hague can ever right the scales of justice until each one of the rapists receives his state-administered dose of Sodium thiopental, Pancuronium bromide and Potassium chloride. Load up the syringes!! |
The only thing they are doing wrong is they are not letting me throw the switch, drop the pellet, however they do it down there.
I'd gladly volunteer. I have a 14 year old daughter. |
