I liked "No Country for Old Men" too. I really liked it until the ending, which was like "whaaa...?"
And what's with the Prince Valiant haircut?? I thought Daniel Day Lewis was very good in TWBB, especially in the long dialog-free sections. It brought me back to the documentary "The Prize" narrated by Donald Sutherland. And I had to get out my atlas to look at the California Kern County and San Luis Obispo County maps. My parents now have a beach house in Morro Bay, and I absolutely love the countryside on the way to the coast, which is where the movie was located. And besides, cities like that still exist in the back country. I also liked the single mindedness of the main character. It was total immersion for me, like a page turner of a novel. |

I actually went to Hell on our honeymoon. It's on Grand Cayman Island. Look it up.
The question is, "did I ever leave?"
