They look stupid and I'd never wear a shoe that I couldn't run for a bus. At Disneyland/World we've had a problem with the moving sidewalks and the escalators eating them. I heard that we have signs that say to watch out if you wear Crocs. An interesting dilemma since they are apparently a big seller at the parks.

Flip flops are everyday foot apparel for me. I wear them on travel (flying), driving, shopping, you name it. I wear them out in 2 months. Love them. I've been known to wear them to work while also wearing shorts and polo. I don't dig sandals, most of the sports models are not comfortable on my feet. I wear "real" shoes for running or when I have to wear good slacks/suits. God I love SoCal!

When it comes to combining 2 words that make me throw up a little, nothing beats anal leakage, boiled beef and men's clogs..

Why would anyone care what others wear on their feet? Really?

I'm constantly looking down at the ground for spare change, so I see a lot of feet passing by, not all of them "picturesque'

Seriously, does NOBODY ever tell a woman with goat feet to please stop wearing open-toed shoes?! Yes, husbands and boyfriends, I'm talking to you. Just 'cause you settled for knobby gorilla toes doesn't mean you're off the hook for sparing the rest of us the revulsion.

+1. Excellent wordsmithing.

I won't let my kids wear them out of the house. They cause bloody knees. My daughter falls every time she tries to run in them.

I like them. Comfortable and cheap. They stay on your feet as well as most sandals, certainly better than flip-flops. You can run in them, not for miles but who wants to do that? As for looks, I guess I don't care what anyone thinks of my shoes. The pair I have now are dayglo orange.

Dayglo orange Crocs on a guy...now there's a fashion statement for ya. But hey, since you don't care, carry on.
