I'd have to agree that things are spiraling down the toilet here, lately. I'm not looking for everyone to agree with each other, it would just be nice if some folks acted like grown-ups.
I also don't think it's fair to blame this decline on any one person as there are many folks quite eager to jump in and fling the feces about . . . At least I am still capable of self-filtering the miscreants and, so far, able to keep it from getting to me too much.

Some people like to talk politics and religion, others like to ignore them and focus on humor and levity. I've never partcipated in anything more serious then "what song you hate" or TV show you like. Doesn't take much more then reading the headlines and skipping the ones you don't want to particpate in. You being the moderator would make that difficult and I can certainly understand.
