Funny, I remember one of your previous posts about your MIL, and I thought you had described mine.

Seriously, during the whole crazy 6-7 year period, my wife went to counseling with her to try to work the stuff out. Went to 2-3 different counsellors, they variously described her as having a personality disorder, being an incorrigible narcissist, and having sociopathic tendencies.

Then in the spring it just stopped, overnight.

In fairness to her it all centered around an ongoing messy divorce of her 35+ yrs husband. After a few years, we figured she just wasn't going to ever recover.

Still plugging away, spent the weekend there. I'll bump that thread with some new pics.

Me, too.

My MIL may in fact be evil incarnate, Bealzabub with a fat dumper and grey hair.

Churchill described Russia as, "A Riddle Wrapped in a Mystery Inside an Enigma"

My MIL is all of that and, "A Witch Wrapped in a Robe who needs an Enema".

It's a complete show. My wife is absolutely the coolest, nicest person I know. The MIL not so: Mystery science theater.

That's what we're dealing with. Jewelry thieving cleaning ladies that are all sluts that want to steal her decrepit husband (poor long suffering FIL). We're on the 3rd or 4th . . .

Aside from that, she is truly wonderful.

Same with my MIL. Also helps that she's a total MILF and looks about the same age as my wife.

My MIL was as tough as nails but had a heart of gold. I had to earn my way into that heart, but once I was there things were great. It will be 11 years in a couple of days since she passed away. Great lady! I wish she was still around. R.I.P. mom.

i love my MIL. she is hard working, and has fantastic ethics. she always seems to put her family first. if my wife asked, i would be happy to put her on "an allowance" so she wouldnt have to work that hard. no my FIL is the..wait new thread.

My MIL is the best ever. She stays for months at a time, cooks, cleans and helps with the kid.

She's quiet too, all she seems to want in return is to have a quiet place to read and some place to use her sewing machine.

My mom on the other hand...

That can't come soon enough in my case. I'm very much looking forward to middle age now.

Yeah, my MIL is a MILF. I'd hit it. No way in the world can she buy a drink in this country. No one would even believe her passport birthday.
