Need translation of email delivery error
This is a notice from Verizon about an email I sent yesterday. What's weird is this is in reply to an email that had gone between us already. My ISP is Verizon and while they've provided excellent service, getting any support is not worth the effort. I'm having no other email issues.
Is this jibberish or does it actually mean something? I know I'm not blocked by the recipient. What the heck is "LashBack Unsubscribe Probe"? And why can't they speak in laymans terms? I'm guessing the problem is with the recipients mail server, localnet, which sounds like it's run out of someones garage. Is his ISP server calling me spam and they want to unsubscribe from me? Or does Verizon think I'm unsubscribing and misdirected this email? I tried resending and it still has not arrived. This was actually 3x longer, but just repeated itself. __________________________________________________ _____________ Delivery attempt history for your mail: Thu, 28 Aug 2008 21:03:46 -0500 (CDT) xyzxyz@localnet.com: smtp;451 Sender has sent to LashBack Unsubscribe Probe accounts Thu, 28 Aug 2008 13:03:35 -0500 (CDT) xyzxyz@localnet.com: smtp;451 Sender has sent to LashBack Unsubscribe Probe accounts Thu, 28 Aug 2008 05:03:33 -0500 (CDT) TCP active open: Failed connect() Error: Connection timed out Thu, 28 Aug 2008 01:03:10 -0500 (CDT) xyzxyz@localnet.com: smtp;451 Sender has sent to LashBack Unsubscribe Probe accounts Last edited by TerryH; 08-29-2008 at 07:25 AM.. |
