Do those numbers sound close to being right? Our corporate jets are a Falcon and a Gulfstream, and a pilot told me it's about $10K each way between Kansas City and Wash D.C. Assume Diddy is flying 2.5X that distance, i.e. NY to Cali and you are talking $50K for a round trip flight.

Not debating, or justifying a $50K trip, but just curious on true cost to fly around in a jet.

I bought a ping pong table on CL from a pilot a few weeks ago. He told me he had flown his mom in her jet to Dallas the previous week and it had run $14k in fuel each way. Dunno if that's true or not. Just sayin.

Monster? How so? Was Frank Sinatra a "monster" as well?

I don't worship at the alter of Puffy, but I'm no hater either. He is a 100% self-made man in the most competitive businesses on earth. He started from nothing and found artists to produce, created art from nothing and started a clothing line and several other businesses that employ thousands of people and make hundreds of millions of dollars. Sort of a poster child for the American dream, really.

Isn't that what you Republicans are supposed to respect? I always thought that it didn't really matter how someone makes their $$ with you guys, dump plutonium in the river or blacken the skies, it's all good as long as it creates wealth and jobs, right?

Bottom line is that he's a lot smarter and more ambitious than you, so you must hate him. You're a hater, it's what you do. I have next to nothing, (not very ambitious), yet other people's success has never bothered me at all. Flying on his own jet and banging supermodels? Good for him. This is America. He's living the dream.

Let's see, did you even click on the link above?

Quote:
Sean "Diddy" Combs wants you to know celebrities are feeling the rise in gas prices, too, and wants his "Saudi Arabia brothers and sisters" to help him out.

"Gas prices are too motherf-----g high," he says in his latest YouTube video. "As you know, I do have my own jet, but I've been having to fly back and forth to L.A. pursuing my acting career . Now, if I'm flying back and forth twice a month, that's like $200,000, $250,00 round trip. F--- that. I'm back on American Airlines."

The hip-hop mogul recorded the video blog in an unspecified airport while walking through the terminal and getting on a plane.

Diddy made a plea for some free oil.

"Give a shout out to all my Saudi Arabia brothers and sisters and all the brothers and sisters in all the countries that have oil — if you could please send me some oil for my jet, I would truly appreciate it," Diddy says, showing his commercial jet boarding pass to the camera.

Taking a stab at the upcoming political election, Diddy wants to make sure politicians understand his frustration.

"Can you believe this? I'm actually flying commercial — that's how high gas prices are. I'm at the gate right now. This is really happening — proof gas prices are too high. Tell whoever the next president is, we need to bring gas prices down. ... I can't believe I'm flying commercial. ... Even your boy is affected by gas prices."
People are having trouble paying their mortgage, buying food, and staying afloat, and this F**KING moron is complaining about jet fuel prices. What a *****. Yup, I guess I'm a hater. I hate moronic, idiotic people who are so self-absorbed they can't even see straight. I guess you like defending these people. All the power to you.
