The best fast food?

I never eat fast food but just got a craving for KFC after watching a commercial even though I dont remember ever eating KFC before. What are your favorite franchises and what do you eat there? Meanwhile, I'm gonna go get some chicken.

Lately, my favorite is Chipotle.

Can't beat the food quality and freshness for the price, IMO.

Subway the only fast food joint I patronize...really, pretty darned good sandwiches.

In n' Out burgers. When I'm feeling somewhat healthy, Subway. Chicken: Chick-fil A...

I used to be a big Fatburger fan. But they seemed to have gone downhill in the last few years - "downhill" being relative, of course.

fried chicken is a dish that is cooked with great pride here on the Md. shore; but none that i have eaten is as good as KFC original.

been to NYC two times and both times i made sure i hit White Castle (partly because i LOVE the food and partly because i'm a beasties fan! (note i have yet to eat a 'fatburger when i'm way out west' but i will one day!).

love Checkers too.

been cutting way back on fast food though.

Subway is good. Quiznos isn't bad either although they tend to overstuff their subs making them heavy.

Baja Fresh ain't bad either occasionally, although their stuff tends to sit like a rock in my stomach for about 4 hours after eating it, even if it's good/fresh. Just something about it.

In N Out is great. I also love Sonic and Whataburger. Jack In the Box is the lowest I'll go, but I like it because we had it in TX when I was little.

stop in Anthony's on 15th St. in OC for a roast beef sandwhich next time you're in town; you'll never pay $5 for an Arby's 'roast beef' sandwich again.

Amen to that. Just don't check up on the calorie content.

I'd rather skip a meal than eat fast food. Happens occasionally if I'm on work travel with other folks. They get bugged about it... If forced to I'll hit a Subway or El Pollo Loco. Our unhealthy tradition is a takeout family pizza and movie on Friday night. There's a great mom/pop pizza place that makes really good crust. Pepperoni, sausage, and jalapeno peppers. Mmmmmm....

Surprise! Chipotle is owned by McDonald's.

My favorites are Portillo's, Subway, Potbelly, and Avanti's.

Used to, I'm pretty sure they sold their stake in it.

Chipotle is my favorite (but we don't have one at school, only Qdoba, a poor imitator). If only In and Out burger would come east.

No it's not.

McDonald's had a controlling interest (and never full ownership) for a few years in Chipotle, but completely divested a few years ago after Chipotle's IPO.

I've never heard of a lot of these and have never seen/been to most of the ones I have. I am very limited here in VT. Maybe thats why I never eat it.
