Anybody here dislike Libertarians?

I am just curious how everyone here would weigh in on Libertarians.

Paul likes chicks that have a pulse.

Libertarians are OK, but I think the devil's (making the transition to small focused gov't) in the details. Unfortunately, no one takes them seriously since we have the big money interests funding the Donkeys and the Elephants.

That is what I am getting at- it seems that a lot of people would be very interested in a libertarian candidate, but that realistically its a non-starter due to the power (money) of the other parties, and the "don't throw your vote away" mentality when it comes to third parties.

Its a shame, because overall they've got the most reasonable agenda IMO.

Sure, there is no chance of them winning, but voting Libertarian does help float the thinking into the mainstream. ...as long as it doesn't help a Socialist Marxist like Obama win.

If you live in a 'blue state' voting Libertarian can be safe. ..WA state, I never voted for a Bush, for example.

They've got crazy ideas like people are responsible for themselves and less government equals more freedom.

I don't need those things because Big Barack will take care of me and tell me how to live my life.

The problem with Libertarians (and I have voted that way before), as I see it, is that the beliefs of the Party are not enforceable under the Party philosophy of a small (or no) government. So all they can do is offer ideas and hope enough people go along with them.

I think I stopped thinking Libertarian when I went to my first Homeowners Assoc. meeting.

Expand on this if you would- I am not baiting, but rather truly curious...
