Why is it the city is said "Youston", but all the streets of the same name are said "houseton"?
Whats the deal with that??? |

The same reason that several Georgia cities and streets have proper spelling but pronounced differently. Its a Georgia thang, to name a few, Marc!
Vienna = vuy-enn-a Ponce De Leon = Ponce Dee Leeeeeee-yon Houston = House-ton Here's to: Are-O-Cee-Cola and moonpies................ |

Yeah, but there has to be a reason for 'Houston'. Its that way in every city from New York and over not just Ga. (as in SoHo, etc) Could it be as simple as whoever said it first, said it a certain way? LOL..
