Brady out for the season

Hey, sucks for Pats fans.

Brady tears ACL

I'm a Texans fan, but I think the league is better when Brady is healthy and throwing TD's to Randy Moss.

What's going to happen to the Pats now that their franchise QB is lost for the season?

LOL!

Supposedly, the kid from Cal State Northridge did pretty well in replacement for Brady.

I thought NFL players were supposed to be the toughest of the tough out there?

Some of these teams need to learn the difference between "shooting your salary wad on one person" and "having a good, strong, deep bench to guarantee a long and fruitful season".

Cassel, who backed up Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart at USC, hasn’t been a starting quarterback since high school. He won a competition with Matt Gutierrez during the preseason to retain the job as Brady’s primary backup.
Looks like Favre is now the QB to beat in the east.

I think this will prove what I've always said,, Brady isn't that good, it's the system and Belichek... The replacement will do just fine..

Word is that Belicheat has a new robotic QB finishing development. The ACL is a ruse for them to slide in roboqb.

The story that I've heard is that Brady has been hurt for a while (since the end of last season) and been hiding it from the league, and the behest of Belichek.

I'm going to have to agree with that.

And how did a BACKUP QB ever even get drafted?

Randy Moss weighed in. He called it a dirty play.

Moss Calls Play "dirty"

It's hard to tell with the Pats. Maybe that knee was dinged since the super bowl.

How valuable is Brady to the offense? Did they just go from 16-0 to 9-7?

Moss fumbled on the play that Brady got hurt. IMO, he needs to STFU and just focus on doing his job.

I don't think it affects what the Pats will accomplish this year. Brady wasn't that good to begin with.

Anyone think the Pats might go after someone like Daunte Culpepper as their starter? Just thinking out loud.

Cassel will do fine.

Remember how a previously-unknown young lad named Tom Brady got his start?

Umm, yea.

I agree that it will be interesting to see what happens. Moss does need to STFU, it was not a dirty play at all. I watched it, the defensive line player had an offensive lineman on top of him at the time, and kind of reached up as Brady was stepping forward. No dirtier than LT breaking Theisman's leg. It happens, its a contact sport.

With that being said, I wouldn't mind seeing Moss catch a bunch of touchdown passes this year, as I have him in fantasy.....
