When you return, I expect you to have won enough playing pool to buy a new 997. Have fun, be safe!

Okay, getting my last PPOT fix for a long time...

cgarr, I had to chuckle about this one. My 65th birthday is coming up fast...November. My last real solo road trip was many years ago...a Pontiac '66 GTO the ride, and it was new.

One whipped? Another chuckle. I'm really a poor pool player. But I know that, so it's tough to hustle me. In pool terms, I'm rated as a "banger"...that would be "duffer" in golf. I just like to play, try to improve. I'm happy when I run 4-5 balls in a row. My "honorary nephew" Matt is unhappy when he doesn't run 4-5 racks in a row. He's good.

Lisa...you & Cindy must be soul mates. I almost feel sorry for the contractor...Cindy can be so sweet about it all, people go "above and beyond" for her and not know it. I have the feeling you & she share this talent.

Everybody else, thanks for the kind words...and a warning: I'll be back.

No need to stay away from Pelican. There are computers everywhere. You'll get bored and find some place to log in.

We'll hear back from you within the week with some great stories we hope!

Paul;

You probably won't see this till you get back but just want to tell you how glad I am that you got your F- - A- - out from under the Pelican (and not just to do yard work !) finally !

I hope Cindy can come up with a few more projects to get you out of the neighborhood.
