how about a 9/11 "no politics" day?
 

I don't know about others, but I'm sick and tired of politics and the political threads. The same old nonsense day after day after day. Nothing new, nothing creative or funny - just mostly nasty tripe.

So here's my idea. Let's make tomorrow, Thursday 11sep08 is "no politics" day on PPOT. This would be totally voluntary as I'm not going to delete or lock threads if they don't conform. I'm just thinking it would be nice to have a day here with threads about motorcycles, pets, sports, oddities, etc and NO POLITICS. Just for a day. Then you guys can go back to the usual stuff.

Why not either put everything to do with this years election in one humungous thread or request Wayne branch off OT and create a political only forum.

Seriously, there are 30 different threads daily on the same old crap just said differently. ;)

The "no politics" referendum will give everyone a chance to focus on what's really important - namely, the MILF, chest and random pic threads, which have been disappointing of late.

One can have a "political thread day" or a "cat fart thread day" just by being selective. :)

I guess I just like the approach of letting each individual PPOT participant or PPOT reader create his or her own "customized" experience based on their own personal choices, i.e. read what you want, ignore what you don't.
