It's 911 - Do you remember what you were doing 7 years ago?

Today is 911. I generally like to argue politics but I thought I would start a different thread that might save the politics till tomorrow.

So, do you remember what you were doing on "911" I was in bed when I got a call in the morning from a co-worker. She told me to turn on the tv and that we had been attacked. Being early in the morning, I couldn't figure out what she was talking about. I turned on CNN and the 2nd building had just been hit. I watched intently for several hours and then decided I getter get to work. When I got to work, everyone in my building was watching the big-screen tv in the conference room. Eventually, our president sent everyone home for the day. It's a little weird, but I've been hooked on the news ever since. I remember years of going to bed with the tv on - just in case something happened. And believe me, if something did happen (like Katrina, sonami, etc..) I heard it in my sleep and immediately woke up and watched - perhaps some therapy is in order. |

Nah, I went to reply and saw you just beat me to it, so I just pretended to be your echo. The cap t was an oversight.

Just another boring day with no work. Editing my resume on Monster and hitting the PPOT refresh button is my days work.

I heard the jet whine and then POW! I was a block away on Park Place and Church Street. Every car alarm for miles around went off.. Looking up at the north tower you could see molten metal and sparks pour out of the building. Papers swirled in air currents a quarter mile up like confetti.
