cool, thanks. Normally you can pick it up for about $8-10, but free is even better.

That's always my concern when freebies or too-good-to-be-true offers pop up on the internet. Run Forrest, run!

Mine is 795 which is much better than it was when I was paying for two houses.

Apparently having my parents open a savings account for me when I was 6 along with paying for almost everything with my credit card and never missing a payment was good for my score: 797

Great link. I was curious about my score (784) , talking to the wife last night about it.

I use my Gmail addy so Spam will not be an issue. Their spam filter is good, almost too good.

doesn't matter because when you go to use the fico ..they are all telling me it is as much as 100 points lower than what any of my credit reports say (i know credit/fico can/are different)

You just have to be on the ball. I did mine while sitting in ECO301: Money and Banking.

Interesting, but someone on the slickdeals bulletin board reported they were all used up at 7:11, then someone else reported they got their score at 7:30.

This is weird. Every time I register for one of these pro-mos, I'm asked about a mortgage loan that I took out in 2007. Is that usual?

I've never taken out a loan, and have only recently decided that I'd build a line of credit by getting two credit cards. 712, The bad- I make heavy use of my revolving credit, I have too many accounts with balances (2) which I pay off every month. They advise me to have 3 accounts and keep low balances. Is that wise? The other side, the categories where I'm good, never missed a payment, recent usage, and I'm not looking for any new loc? I guess I'll take a hit on one side to make the other look better?? Makes zero sense.

Still, I'm interested in knowing where my house is located so I can start moving my ***** in.
