Hang On Houston
Ike is no poser. Ike is a hitter. Houston is the 4th largest city in the country & hardly any higher than N.O. Ike has tidal waters in the streets in cities all along the gulf coast. Evacuating 5 million plus people is nearly impossible. I hope this turns out OK.

Glad to hear you came out physically OK. Sorry bout the roof. Were you in the house when it went bye-bye. I'm killing time waiting for this mofo to come ashore. This is my least favorite part, the last 24 hrs. Alot of anticipating, worry and prep. The storm, if projections hold, is gonna do major damage. The whole west end of Galveston could be lost.
