Looky at what I spied...

I was at a clients and saw this in the garage..

It's actually more orange - think General Lee orange...
I'm not sure if I was supposed to take any pix though. I will be back tomorrow, maybe I get some better pics out the garage. I asked if it will be outfitted with certain graphics, but he said no - maybe a blower though

Cool.

Some guy in my neighborhood just got one. Same color. Nice.

Saw my first one on the road in Auburn (AL) last weekend. Didn't sound right but it did look rather nice cruising though traffic. Did I mention the one at the Barber 250 with a $29k dealer markup?

Saw a silver one on the road today. No pictures, sorry...
Was kind of cool, SRT with a 6.1 Hemi.
Are they all that?

There are a bunch cruising the roads around here already. Saleen and Hennessey are both working on tricked out versions also. I personally love it. Its the best done retro so far, and the Camaro looks like dog poo.

Agreed, although the show car was rather striking.

This one was picked up for next to nothing.

Looks like they are all 6.1l. I did not talk to John about it too much. If he's around tomorrow, I'll see what he has to say. I believe he picked it up in Atlanta, when he was there a couple of months ago.

Nice looking. Only thing is that it is kind of pricey...
The Camaro looks good too, but the interior is kind of silly..

I like the looks of the car. I keep think of the Detroit auto critic's statement that "Chrysler makes some nice looking crap" and wonder about the engineering and quality under the pretty exterior.

Is that dash suede? That kicks my OCD into high-gear.

They are not all the 425 HP 6.1L SRT8 version. That was just the first to be released. They are also available in 372 HP 5.7L Hemi, and 250 HP V6. Decent looking cars, but I can't get over how BIG they are. Personally, I think the upcoming Camaro is better looking. Also, the base V6 Camaro will be 300 HP.

Our neighbor has had one for several months. He owns a shop, GS Motorsports, that installs performance equipment on already fast cars. His is blown and he can fry rubber at almost any speed. He has 4 or 5 Hemi Dodge/Chrysler/Jeeps, all blown.
