Maybe not, but it's one change I can at least hope for.

Yeah, lower that roof and get rid of the back doors!

Can't hope for a change like yours. A 4 door car makes absolutely no sense if there is no room to sit in the back. To lower the roof like that would require passengers to remove their heads to ride in the back.

It already looks pretty tight back there. This fellow looks half folded up.

There you go again, using your eyes and proving me wrong.

Dang, you are right though, I have to admit it.

I can't get passed the overly high beltline and the rocker skirt on the P-car. The Lambo I find has potential (really like the flow of the roof and the c-pillar treatment), there's way too much surface geometry happening over and around the rear wheel arch.

If forced to choose, I think I'll take the Rapide in graphite gray over oxblood interior.

Haven't given that any thought, have you? I agree though, the AM is sex for a sedan. There's also the Maserati Quatroporte, which looks better in the flesh, has an incredible interior, and a exhaust note from heaven:

The great looking and fast Mercedes CLS63:

And the new Audi A7, expected to eventually have a 500+ HP RS version:

All are better looking (I think) than the Panamera will be, and probably just as fast.

The reason those are better looking cars is because the designers didn't have the same serious constraints the Panamera designers had.

Porsche has little to no creativity anymore. Any new design, not matter what it is, must look like a 911. Cayenne - looks like a 12 year old designed using a 996 and Photoshop.

Even worse with the Panamera - they tried to make a huge front engined 4 door sedan look like a relatively small rear engined 2 door sports car. It's just fundamentally wrong.

That Lambo sedan looks great, IMO.

I like the design of all their cars these days.

Not all sharp angles anymore, hints of a curve now and then.

No, not in the least

Agree on the Maserati. There's an older fellow around town that has one (kind of odd in my neck of the woods). Navy blue with russet brown hides. The sound of it is delicious.

What's with the eyelids? Those belong on a 1966 Beetle, not a 2008 Porsche. The thing looks like it's falling asleep ferchrissakes.
