I have an inside cat already, he is really no trouble at all. There are some days that I never see him, and that is fine with me. I put fresh water out for him, and fill up his food bowl and clean hi litter box and top it off as needed. Several people have been to my house, and never knew I even had a cat. He was a little kitten when I got him, but... he was already litter box trained, and he also had his equipment altered, but still has his claws. He is pretty much useless, as far as most people would consider for a "real pet" but he doesn't bother me or my property, so I don't bother him. Maybe you could take it to your local SPCA?

If a cat had done all that in our house, my wife or daughters would have shot it for sure. (and no, I am not joking)

Check too for kidney stones...
The wrong food in some cats will cause this problem...
They are in pain, and will go in the most inconvenient locations to get your attention...

I've got one myself that I am allergic to. I do like the cat, she is a good cat but I'm just not sure I can take it anymore...(was the wife's cat before we met).

I still have those fish Alarick....

They don't pee in beds, in fact, I don't think they pee at all. Easily contained, don't need to be let outside, can go a week without food...

I was thinking it sounded alot like kidney issues. I have 4 indoor cats (don't ask) and unless there is a medical issue we have no issues.

Cat is fixed. Has had its shots. I live in Sherman Oaks.

The reason why I think this behavior is of vindictive intent (or is that animism I'm projecting?) is that the cat has peed in places where we sleep, but she doesn't. It's not as if she's picking spots that are "comfortable" for her. She's not peeing in her sleeping spots (like our bed or one of her two or three closet/underbed hideaways). She's peeing in our sleeping spots (Noah's bed, guest bed, kids' little couch).

We're going to try her on another course of antibiotics (even though her most recent UA this past week came back clean). Let her out whenever she wants. Put up with the grassy hairball puke (wife will be cleaning those suckers up). Close all doors to the kids' bedrooms. And we'll see how this next week plays out. I might even take her to the office and stick her under the fluoroscope to see if she's got any of those kitty bladder stones tumbling around in her.

Hell yes! Noah is in SoCal. That's the biggest no-brainer of all time. Feed it outside. Keep it outside.

Not only that, Noah doesn't know dick about cats. They need grass and they need to puke. If you can't do the right thing, please don't do the wrong one.

They don't need grass. We always have had regular hairball deposits with 100% indoor cats.

Good luck, Noah. We lost Uma - the Wonder Cat - this year. A very expensive urinary issue that was solved last year but almost killed her - I eye-dropper her with food for 3 days - which bought her another year. We miss her immensely. Our adopted cat just isn't the same.

First hit on Google: http://www.poopsiecat.com/

Come on, man, talk to your vet.

In my many, many years as a home improvement contractor, I have had several years where I visited over 100 homes a year. An off year I'd visit 50. Most people don't deserve to have any kind of pet, and somewhat less children.

I've never been stuck in an office with the same people day in and day out. I'd say I've seen more than most AFA people are concerned. And some wonder why contractors are dicks. See what I've seen. Meanwhile, read up on cats. OK?

Nope. Uma was a very different cat. She ate nothing but hard food. I mean nothing. No soft food. No human food. No milk. She wouldn't have touched Natural Oat Cat Grass with a ten foot paw. We tried her outside & she wanted nothing to do with it. She would start howling the moment she got outside. Catnip did nothing for her. I believe I even tried some grass one time. Nada. Vets always said she was extremely healthy. Until she wasn't at 9 years.
