Paul Newman dies
Just announced that Paul Newman died yesterday of Cancer at age 83.
He will be missed! RIP Paul! |
Just saw this on the news too :(. BTW Joe, I haven't been hanging out much here on OT lately although it's improved significantly imo since the cesspool subforum was created... welcome back!
They just don't make 'em like Paul anymore...RIP. |
Thanks for coming back, Joe. It wasn't the same around these parts with out you.
|
The world should be a better place because a man has lived. It was because of Paul Newman. RIP.

Joe,
Sad news. Welcome back! |
What a great guy, actor, race car driver, entrepreneur...
I wonder if they have 917's in heaven? |
A loss to the world.

Guys,
Not sure that I am "back" whatever that means, but could not resist posting this. The announcement had come out on Fox News and I checked PPOT and nothing was posted. Waited 10 minutes and still nothing so decided to put it up. Really fine man. As Scott says, I really hope that they have 917's in Heaven and he is sitting in one right now. You do not start to feel your age until something like this happens. You look around and all your "hero's" are passing away. Kinda makes you realize that "nothing is forever" and eventually your time will come. Joe A |
An Icon and a class act.
|
Cool Hand Luke... RIP.
|
I don't see anyone filling his shoes, we just watched Cat on a Hot Tin Roof for the first time last month.

Very sad to hear this but thanks for the post. He was a fine gentleman and certainly will be missed. He leaves a tremendous legacy. What more can be said.
Joe, Hope all is well with you! Regards from an east coast QB. (UCA) |
