Jerks with SUVs

So I was visiting some family in Texas and borrowed my Uncles 911 Cabby to get him some new solar-powered lighting for his walkway. Anyhow, I come out after getting them and some fruitcake in a HUGE suv has parked really close to me. It really makes me upset that in this day and age people aren't more concerned about the environment. So I 'accidentally' gouged a line into his door to teach him a lesson about being considerate, and maybe now he will go buy a small, fuel efficient car.

You probably really helped the environment....now instead of him driving an SUV he is driving an SUV and having it painted. Good work.

I love these threads.

parody threads... :D

kstar 09-28-2008 09:48 PM

Ramm should have disabled the SUV so as to render it "totalled", in the name of the environment, IMO.

Constructive revenge.

ErVikingo 09-29-2008 04:56 AM

When you factor in how many passengers I can carry on my SUV vs. on my PCars, my SUV is way more efficient...

I had this debate with a witch at WDW's parking lot. She parked her SL600 way too close to my SUV (she parked after me) and I was not able to open the door to get my kids without getting to close for comfort to her door.

I politely asked her to scoot over a bit and she launched on this rant about large cars and fuel economy. She ticked me off to the point that I pulled out a car magazine I had on my truck and showed her the MPG ratings of her car vs my monstrousity....

I also took advantage and complained about her cigarette and her friends cigar smoke and its effect on the environment (hey they started it all ;) ).

I made my point that day! When we came back, we had 2 flats.... Which got reported to the police and WDW had video of it. Priceless

Now that is funny!

rammstein 09-29-2008 05:49 AM

Look- you can say what you want about how many people go in your suv, and how this is better for the environment, but you could all fit into a prius and not contribute to the destruction of mother earth with your gas guzzlins SUVs.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1222696184.jpg

Wickd89 09-29-2008 06:20 AM

I should have considered the source........;-)))

Very true. Enjoy your Prius! (but don't look at the info on the contamination created in making them...).

kstar 09-29-2008 07:03 AM

This thread is perfect example of why green text should be avoided.

rammstein 09-29-2008 07:27 AM

I can't believe he is taking me seriously! I feel dirty continuing this charade, because now somewhere out there is a man named Juan who thinks that I am a member of E.L.F. or something.

Juan- I am NOT serious.

rammstein 09-29-2008 07:34 AM

OK- maybe I am serious. Super, super serial.

ErVikingo 09-29-2008 07:34 AM

Thanks Rammstein but I knew you were kidding (see my "enjoy your Prius!" line).

Trouble is, some people are serious out there....

Have a good one! (BTW, what is ELF)

rammstein 09-29-2008 07:56 AM

ELF is the environmental liberation front. They are extremist whackos who don't understand irony very well.

Case in point- to protest SUVs, they burned up a chevy dealership. So... to protest the damage that suvs cause the environment, they burn down a dealership.

I don't think they get it.

ErVikingo 09-29-2008 07:58 AM

WOW - very smart ;)

Earth Liberation Front, actually. IIRC, they torched a ski lodge in Vail a while back also.

rammstein 09-29-2008 09:01 AM

How is a Ski-Lodge bad for the environment?

Dave L 09-29-2008 09:12 AM

it depends on how many of them you smoke in one day.

Fire in the fireplace 24/7:)

Racerbvd 09-29-2008 10:13 AM

My response was do to the fact that some cowardly little liberal poured something in my old SUV's fuel tank after they scratched comments about my Bush decal:mad: The fact that there are people doing this type of crap makes my blood boil:mad:

RWebb 09-29-2008 10:34 AM

apparently it was not a svelte toyota hybrid suv...

serious?

the one burned wiped out a huge amount of lynx habitat - they avoid humans, noise, disturbance, etc. so it was many sq. miles

lynx are listed as threatened or endangered

Ahhh. That explains your anger toward the anti-Bush. I understand now... I think. However, not all libs are a__ holes, just like not all neo-cons are a__holes. I think I've got that right. :)

BTW, what did your Bush decal say to warrant such action?

Sherwood

You may be getting a call from Matlock.

Agreed. Never used it (or any "smilies" or emoticons or whatever), never will. Way more fun that way.

Bush 2004, and the only other decals was a Trackschedule. in the other corner of the glass under my small PCA member decal. The area, is what some would call Progressive, was a nice old area, then started going down, but like many older, core areas, started making a comeback, at that point, signs saying kill the yuppies scum (of course these are the people bringing money into the area, opening new business and renovating the buildings) and vandalizing property. It is a great place to people watch though.
