Check out this R/C boat

This is my uncle's. Same guy that built that spud cannon from the other thread. The only thing that he didn't make from scratch on this thing is like the propeller, servos, and motor. To say he is good is an under statement. These pictures are pre completion and missing the prop and the exhaust isnt bolted on yet. that pipe is made out of an old bat and an aluminum beer bottle.

Oh did I mention that this guy could lay down some killer paint too?

Not relevant to the boat but here is the last bike he painted.

That's really cool. He did a good job.

Do yourself a favor. These days it's hard not to use "like". At least keep from typing it out.

Sidney, I'm guessing that's a weed-wacker engine. How did he link the engine to the prop/drive shaft? That is a lot of power for that size boat. Looks like a lot of fun!!

Also, about the "like" phenomenom. Both my daughers utilize this sound - their language is peppered with it. One's an MD the other's a Lawyer, go figure.

It's generational - gen Y-ers, I believe.

like, whatever?!?

Cool boat, we have a pond by our place and I have always thought of getting a RC boat for my son. Yes, it would be for my son.

I'm 38, and to my horror I hear myself use "like" from time to time. I really hate it. I'll blame it on my step-daughter that's now 23. After being pummeled with it for 10 years, since she was a kid, it wore off on me a bit. Now that she's graduated and moved out, I've vowed to eradicate it.

Tell me more about the spud cannon. I searched, but didn't get any hits.
