			Crazy stuff!  All it takes is one moment of inattention at those altitudes/speeds and you'd never even know what happened... I imagine ground effect helps a little with getting TOO low, but still, I think of anything below about 500' as "too low".

One of the problems with being low enough to have ground effect help push you up is that you are low enough to drag a wing in a turn on level ground, thus requiring a climb to turn.
