Bus Crash in Williams Ca
This does not sound good, anyone you know going Greyhound in northern Cali
October 5, 2008 COLUSA COUNTY - A Greyhound tour bus carrying more than 50 passengers has rolled over in Colusa County. The bus was traveling near Lone Star Road and Abel Road, east of the town of Williams, around 6:15 this evening, when it rolled over and off the roadway. No other vehicles were involved. More than 50 passengers were on board the bus when it crashed. 35 of those passengers are in critical condition. Mandatory drug/alcohol testing required on this driver (DOT rules). Wonder what occurred? The write up almost seems to indicate that the bus rolled over IN the roadway then left the roadway...

dunno, just a flash news thing on TV, another, with a picture
http://www.kcra.com/news/17630607/detail.html 9 fatalities, 8 helicopters, several made more than one trip N bound bus ended up facing S, sounds like it flipped end over end, came to rest about 2 car lengths off the road, solo vehicle accident

This is going to be (already is) real real ugly. Not as bad as the Rita bus fire, but definately chew your arm off coyote type ugly...

10 killled, turns out, including owner of the bus. Sold 2 years ago to guy by Greyhound, never registered, no insurance, running gambling charters. Driver had regular license(not legal for more than a 10 passenger van, just like you and me), was ex-drug dealer felon, prior DUI conviction, and it is a DUI this time.
This really pisses me off to no end

Wow, makes you think twice about setting foot on a charter bus.
How does a guy with a criminal record and multiple accidents end up driving a bus? ** His mother said she believed the crash came on her son's first day behind the wheel of the bus after several training trips watching the owner drive. She and her husband told their son they were uncomfortable with him driving a vehicle that carried people instead of cargo. "He wasn't the best driver," she said. "He knew we didn't want him to drive." **
