Loan stmt for rental property; we'll take the balance please!
Effing PNC can bite my arse. 3yrs into this loan for a rental property and the mortgage statement this month is asking for the balance on it ($85k). effing numbskulls.
It WAS a local bank before PNC absorbed it. local banks don't pull this bs because they lend carefully and don't get caught with their pants down. effing morons. this is akin to ronald mcdonald telling me he wants his cheeseburgers back. HTF is a bank supposed to make money when they don't want to lend it? we will find another local bank and solve this issue but i suspect it is just going to be more of the same for so many people. this particular loan/house is textbook perfect and safe as can possibly be. just ridiculous.

??? I assume it was a fixed term loan, and now they want payment in full? I really doubt that is legal, unless there's something I misunderstand.

So you signed a loan for x number of years to pay for this property? How can they ask for the remaining balance when you have a signed contract to repay in x number of installments?

Lot's of commercial loans are just a year to year outstanding balance. Pretty rare for them to call one in though.
