I would buy AAPL here at $88-89 and I think such a purchase will look brilliant in the short term, IMO.

They have almost $24 cash per share and revenue of $35 per share, among other favorable fundamentals.

I don't think they will be severely impacted by slowing consumer purchasing, which is why some analysts have downgraded the stock.

Yes, and I comment on that on the thread -- but if you read my original post on the stock picking thread I commented:
