I watch that clip every few months or so, just for kicks. It's a riot! Come on, all you purists - it's probably not a real longhood anyway. Lots of clues there, just look for 'em - black trim, impact bumpers. Probably a poorly backdated middie.

Clarkson's always hated Porsches but knows he's fighting a losing battle. Check out the episode where he drives a GT3 (I think?). He's howling he's having so much fun. He calls it something like the most fun he's ever had in a car.
