I use to have one, very cool, but not really that fun to shoot, I enjoyed the AR much more.

DPMS is quality stuff. I got one of their flat top upper receivers for my M4. Excellent workmanship and very well priced.

Oh I know a LOT of guys who are buying crap guns to turn in when THAT day comes, sooner than we think I feel. They will hide the good stuff, just like they did in Russia when the Commies disarmed everyone. Lots of fine guns still buried over there.. Now where did I put that metal detector?

+1 on very well priced, thats what has me worried. $949 for the 24'' bull barrel http://www.dpmsinc.com/store/products/?prod=1435&cat=1735 smokes comparable aramlite offerings in pricing. I understand it would be more $$ after I added some goodies, but still less(a lot) than Aramalite or Saber. Thanks for the response.

Thanks.

Its a 20 inch barrel. RRA guarantees 3/4 MOA at 100 yards and I have seen better than that.

This was a mock-up picture. The scope sits much closer to the barrel now.

I am currently building a 22-250 Remington using a Savage action, with a 24inch Douglas XX barrel and a custom stock. Its going to be heavy, but it will be a bench / bipod gun.

You should be able to do much better than $949 on a long/bull barrel:

How many of you have actually studied the science and life style of Zombies before purchasing your weapon of choice? Not many I would estimate. Instead, most are enamored of rapid-fire weapons designed for mere mortal armies. And what about those pesky Vampires? Have you considered they may actually prefer NRA blood-types over a socialist Lib? And there you are, naked without a single silver bullet of any caliber at the ready with the Count himself jiggling the front door knob.

Be prepared. You're leaving yourself way short by not choosing the most effective tool to save your sorry hide. That's why I bookmark The Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency website whenever I need expert advice. Good info here:
