It is a great camera. You don't need to dive in very deep. Set it to auto iso and shoot in P mode. Odds are you'll be all set. Make sure image stabilization is on, and if you shoot macro slide the switch on the side of the lens barrel (and switch it back when you're done doing closeups).

Okay I give up time to replace my compact Leica. Does anyone remember this?




The pictures at Essen sold me (very aware the operator is all important but I'm not above stacking the deck). Before I order the D-Lux4 anything else I should be looking at? Is the "D-Lux 5" coming out next month?
